Happy Halloween Boys and Girls! I know, boo for me! I've been so busy, but hopefully Friday will be a free day. I thought instead of the traditional Thriller, we can have a little international flava!

Kobe Bryant and the Bulls?

Steven Freeman/WireImage.com

OMG! I'm so tired of "Ko-baby", please Lakers just trade him to the Bulls and get it over with. The season starts Oct. 30 and Kobe still doesn't have a true home. Buss, owner of the Lakers is finally ready to hear offers for the whining superstar and the Bulls are the front-runners. The Lakers are asking for the following players: Deng, Gordon, Thomas, and Noah! Wow, talk about over-haul of the team! The only problem with that deal is Bryant wouldn't have any desires to play for them if they don't have enough players that can support the ball-hogger! They're the only team I can think of that has enough cap-space and players that can equal the value of Bryant. I can only assume that Gordon would have to give up that number in the trade. He still won't compare to the greatness of Jordan! Do you think it's possible for " Big Ben" and " Ko-baby" to co-exist?

NFL Sunday

(REUTERS/Marc Serota)

Since we're on the subject of sports, how about those 7-0 Pats. I would've continued with the Patriots in the Red Sox post, but I feel they need to shine all by themselves. It's NFL Sunday and what could be more exciting than watching the Pats beat the Redskins! Also, Giants and Dolphins will play across the pond in London! The commish of the NFL is trying to push mass marketing in order to expand the NFL to Europe over the next couple of years. How popular do you think the NFL will be in Europe?

The Chargers and Texans game should be a dramatic and exciting addition to the Sunday hoopla. I have to admit, the thought of a NFL game being played near the wildfires was a little scary. It took forever for the both teams to find out where they were going to play. I totally think Goodell's decision was solely based on dollar signs. I know that the fires have died down and all, but damn to play with so much going on is a bit distracting! Oh well the show must go on and I will definitely be watching.

Pedroia and Ellsbury are the Stars of the World Series!

(AP Photo/Julie Jacobson)

Oh wow, it seems like forever since I've blogged. It has been a crazy and busy week, so I had to wait until things settled down. Anyway, lets get down to baseball shall we! Boston Red Sox as you all know is my favorite team, so I am very excited to see them beating up on the Rockies. You guys may or may not remember the butt whooping they gave to the St. Louis Cardinals in 2004, well it looks like Colorado better start packing up and go on a long vacation. The rookies Pedroia and Ellsbury have been the stars of the World Series, with batting averages of .357 and .417 respectively. Ellsbury in game 3 last night had two doubles and the 3rd inning looked like a clinic by the away team. Ortiz even with a bum knee was able to come up with a huge RBI in the 3rd after striking out in the 1st inning. So it seems that my fav team is running on all cylinders and Terry Francona is pulling out all strategies to ensure a victory in Colorado. Game 4 tonight is do or die time for the Rockies!

"Superman Returns" writers shown the door

The world is going to be shocked to discover that Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris, the writers who tanked the Superman franchise before it even got off the ground by forgetting to write action and excitement into "Superman Returns," have opted not to write the sequel to 2006's historically bad celluloid turd, according to Variety. They also reported dancing in the streets, or at least in comic book stores, before ambulances were called to provide oxygen for the out-of-shape shut-ins who frequent these establishments.

The word is that Warner Bros. wants to start fresh with the next movie anyway, expressing complete surprise that fans didn't accept Superman being a baby daddy, not throwing a single punch, not doing anything "super," being portrayed as a stalker, and Lex Luthor not being a threat to anyone. Bryan Singer was reportedly pleased with how the movie turned out because Brandon Routh was "delicious."

Here's hoping this leads to a cleaning of house, starting with Bryan Singer, and followed by Kate Bosworth and Kevin Spacey, having their roles as Lois Lane and Lex Luthor being filled by actors who actually possess the qualities to perform those roles.

The Red Sox are Heading to the Big Dance!

AP Photo/ Bill Sikes

I couldn't even close my eyes tonight without hearing the cheers from the sell-out crowd at Fenway Park. The atmosphere was electric and I so wanted to be apart of it. I had to watch my Texans fall today to the Titans. The Texans were down 32-7 after 3 quarters and then Rosenfel orchestrated one of the greatest come-backs I've ever seen.

So I was very sad, but anxious for some renewed excitement. My Boston cap was on turned to the back and a Fanta soda was by my side. I was focused and ready, hands were clammy, face was turning red, stomach started hurting! This is the feeling of a dedicated Boston fan people, it's all a process! Anyway, so the Red Sox held on to a 1 pt lead going into the 7th.

At times during the inning I felt like I was watching a little league game, the errors and base-running was horrible! The Sox still stayed focused and tore it up in the 8th inning against Betancourt. Pedroia and Yooouki were on fire! The made-men weren't so fortunate this game, but Manny deserved a break. He has been the fuel that has ran the ship. Big Papi's knees have really messed up his swing and he's not the confident slugger that everyone is use to. Bean-town was wide awake after CoCo Crisp caught the ball in the outfield to end the game. He banged his knee into the green wall, but was able to hobble his way to meet the team.

So there it is ladies and gents, my take on the game and the emotions that come with it. So the same process will occur on Wed when the World Series kicks off. The Rockies beat the Red Sox 2 out of 3 games in the regular season. What the hell does that mean to me, NOTHING!

Britney Does Drama!

Britney is having the worst week ever! She lost visitation rights with her two boys, because the former pop princess didn't obey the judges stipulations and now a photographer's foot was ran over by her car! I think it's a damn shame that she will go to Starbucks everyday for a freaking Latte, but won't do everything she can to handle all the requests by the judge. Well, I'm sure that the photog will go to the doctor and get his foot broken, then proceed to the nearest law firm and file a claim. Wow, talk about an overnight success, he'll never have to take a pic again!

It's True, Dumbledore is Gay!

I'm not a Harry Potter fan, but a lot of people are. J.K. Rowling revealed to the many fans and media at Carnegie Hall that the character Dumbledore is gay! Fans of the series have long speculated about his sexuality, because he has no close relationships with women in the books. When she gave the goods, the crowd gasped and applauded. She said that he was smitten with Gellert Grindelwald a long time ago in an earlier battle. So there you have it folks, all the rumors can now be put to rest!

Worker Suspended at Oprah's School in Africa

Oprah Winfrey has suspended a worker at her school in Johannesburg. The unknown worker was a dormitory parent at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls. There are serious allegations against the employee, claiming misconduct between a child and an adult. Now how sad is this story! Everyone knows how important it is for Oprah to provide a safe and healthy school for these disadvantage girls. I know that Oprah will take these allegations very seriously and handle the situation accordingly.

Silly String Can Help Our Troops!

Silly String, the stuff we use to play with as kids can help our troops survive. After months of frustration, a mother of a soldier in Iraq has found a company to ship about 80,000 cans of Silly String to the troops, who use the foamy substance to detect trip wires on bombs. The product is very expensive to ship, so it's awesome to hear that Capacity L.L.C. is going to make it happen. Now the only thing that makes me a little weary is how we expose our tools. I know it's news and all, but this is a worldwide problem, so to discover that something so " silly" can help will only make for a new discovery by the terrorists. Anywho, good for the mom and definitely a plus for all.

Deaths Caused by Staph Could Exceed Those Caused by A.I.D.S.

This is one instance that I will post verbatim about a topic. I think it's very important information and I want to make sure that my readers get the full 411!

CHICAGO (AP) — More than 90,000 Americans get potentially deadly infections each year from a drug-resistant staph "superbug," the government reported in its first overall estimate of invasive disease caused by the germ. Deaths tied to these infections may exceed those caused by AIDS, said one public health expert commenting on the new study. Tuesdays report shows just how far one form of the staph germ has spread beyond its traditional hospital setting. The overall incidence rate was about 32 invasive infections per 100,000 people. That's an "astounding" figure, said an editorial in Wednesday's Journal of the American Medical Association, which published the study. Most drug-resistant staph cases are mild skin infections. But this study focused on invasive infections — those that enter the bloodstream or destroy flesh and can turn deadly. Researchers found that only about one-quarter involved hospitalized patients. However, more than half were in the health care system — people who had recently had surgery or were on kidney dialysis, for example. Open wounds and exposure to medical equipment are major ways the bug spreads.

In recent years, the resistant germ has become more common in hospitals and it has been spreading through prisons, gyms and locker rooms, and in poor urban neighborhoods. The new study offers the broadest look yet at the pervasiveness of the most severe infections caused by the bug, called methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, or MRSA. These bacteria can be carried by healthy people, living on their skin or in their noses. An invasive form of the disease is being blamed for the death Monday of a 17-year-old Virginia high school senior. Doctors said the germ had spread to his kidneys, liver, lungs and muscles around his heart.

The researchers' estimates are extrapolated from 2005 surveillance data from nine mostly urban regions considered representative of the country. There were 5,287 invasive infections reported that year in people living in those regions, which would translate to an estimated 94,360 cases nationally, the researchers said.

Most cases were life-threatening bloodstream infections. However, about 10 percent involved so-called flesh-eating disease, according to the study led by researchers at the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. There were 988 reported deaths among infected people in the study, for a rate of 6.3 per 100,000. That would translate to 18,650 deaths annually, although the researchers don't know if MRSA was the cause in all cases.

If these deaths all were related to staph infections, the total would exceed other better-known causes of death including AIDS — which killed an estimated 17,011 Americans in 2005 — said Dr. Elizabeth Bancroft of the Los Angeles County Health Department, the editorial author. The results underscore the need for better prevention measures. That includes curbing the overuse of antibiotics and improving hand-washing and other hygiene procedures among hospital workers, said the CDC's Dr. Scott Fridkin, a study co-author. Some hospitals have drastically cut infections by first isolating new patients until they are screened for MRSA.

The bacteria don't respond to penicillin-related antibiotics once commonly used to treat them, partly because of overuse. They can be treated with other drugs but health officials worry that their overuse could cause the germ to become resistant to those, too. A survey earlier this year suggested that MRSA infections, including noninvasive mild forms, affect 46 out of every 1,000 U.S. hospital and nursing home patients — or as many as 5 percent. These patients are vulnerable because of open wounds and invasive medical equipment that can help the germ spread.

Dr. Buddy Creech, an infectious disease specialist at Vanderbilt University, said the JAMA study emphasizes the broad scope of the drug-resistant staph "epidemic," and highlights the need for a vaccine, which he called "the holy grail of staphylococcal research." The regions studied were: the Atlanta metropolitan area; Baltimore, Connecticut; Davidson County, Tenn.; the Denver metropolitan area; Monroe County, NY; the Portland, Ore. metropolitan area; Ramsey County, Minn.; and the San Francisco metropolitan area.

Ellen in Hot Water with Mutts and Moms

Ellen DeGeneres was all teared up on her talk-show yesterday, because of the controversy that surrounds her. Apparently when Ellen adopted a puppy from the agency Mutts and Moms, there was a clause in the contract that says, she can't give the puppy away to another household, she must return the puppy to the agency immediately. Well Mrs. Ellen's cats didn't get along with the Brussels Griffon mix, so she gave the puppy to her hairdresser and her daughters. Once the agency learned that she had given the puppy away without notifying them, they confiscated the dog from the hairdresser and her two daughters, leaving the young ones in tears. Ellen went on a whole spill about how she loves animals and just wanted the puppy to go to a nice family that would take care of it. She violated the rules in the contract and for that reason, she has to be held accountable for her actions. What kills me is that fans of the host are calling the agency with death threats. Hello people, she broke the rules. Remember the whole argument that celebs can't receive preferential treatment. I know it's a little extreme, but Ellen should have took Iggy back and then recommended that the puppy be placed with her friend.

Should the agency return the puppy?

Brad Pitt was a Stripper in College!

Brad Pitt use to be a stripper in college, WTF? He was part of a raunchy group the Dancing Bares during his time at the University of Missouri. When there was a 21st birthday for the sorority sisters all seven of them would put on a show. They would put her in a chair and come out straight-up full frontal with pillowcases on their heads and do a choreographed dance for her. The girls would be laughing so hard. It was great!" I ain't mad at you Brad, who didn't act a damn fool in college. I don't know how cut or sexy he was back in the day, but whatever he was dishing out, the ladies loved it. Good for you Brad, you took college very seriously! Also, he's admitted that he's cut down tremendously on his drinking, because his daughter Zahara choked on a piece of ice a year ago and he was a little slow to react. Why was he delayed in helping little Z, because he was inebriated! Good Lord Brad, glad you slowed it down. You can't be drunk with 4 kids running around, not cool!

This is just weird!

Lauryn Hill Pregnant with Fifth Child

We were definitely miseducated, because Lauryn Hill has turned out to be a real loon. The former granny winner is pregnant with her fifth child. The father is her long-time " husband", Tuff Gong who owns the clothing line, Rohan. There hasn't been legal documents to prove that their married, but hey spiritual unions are cool too! Hill's Myspace page says that she's married and her name is Lauryn Hill-Marley. Apparently Tuff won't be able to be by her side, because he has taken off to Ethiopia. It's always sad when such a great artist goes off the rocker. I'm all for discovering self and becoming one with mother earth, but dang girl come back to reality. I wish her a healthy pregnancy and hopefully that " husband" will return from Ethiopia and be there for her.

Lindsay Going for Broke!

Linsday Lohan is reportedly broke. The actresses $7 million fortune has completely ran dry. The actress has spent over $1 million on clothes, sounds about right to me. Also, she even had a $1 million hotel bill. Wow, it's just real sad, but she did this to herself. That's what drugs will do, gains all respect from you until your will to be productive is gone. She left rehab last week and is staying with the executive producer from her flop movie, I Know Who Killed Me. She has spent more than $137,000 on three stints in rehab and much more on legal fees. Hopefully, the 21 yr old actress can get it together, because it sounds like she has definitely hit rock bottom!

Boston is Having the Best Week Ever!

Keith Nordstrom

Patriots made a believer out of everybody, they routed the Cowboys on Sunday 48-27 and the Red Sox and Indians are tied in the ALCS. Manny was definitely being Manny in the first two games and it seemed like the Indians had almost given up, but in Game 2 Trot Nixon started a rally and the other players followed. The Indians put up 7 runs in the 11th to top the BoSox. Manny has been batting .500 and that's mainly on 0-2 counts. Big Papi has been hustling even on a bum knee, he's been laying it all out on the field. They shall meet again on Monday in Cleveland. I hope those damn bugs aren't flying around like they did in the Yankees series! I mean that was funny, seeing A-Rod slap bugs off his pretty face, but this is my team, so no distractions please! Boston is on it's way to having the best year ever, if the Sox can stay focused and put the Indians away. Patriots have the chance to clinch a playoff spot by Thanksgiving, how crazy is that! Lets go Red Sox and keep it moving Pats!

Will Smith Turning Hitch into a Television Series

The date doctor will be coming to a television near you! Will Smith is going to executive produce the series that will be pitched to networks shortly. I Am Legend , which previewed before the Tyler Perry movie will be coming out later this year. Why Did I Get Married? grossed $21 million over the weekend. I felt the editing was a little off and the acting was a little overboard at times, but it was a quality movie. I think Hitch the series will be a big success. The movie made crazy money and everyone loves Will! The only question is, who will play Hitch? If you have any suggestions, please leave a comment.

Snoop Picking Up the Leaves!

Snoop will rake leaves and do other maintenance at an Orange County Park to comply with the 160 hours of community service that was given to him as part of his sentence. He was charged with possession of an illegal weapon last year after he had a collapsible baton at John Wayne Airport in Orange County. Officials have refused to give the name of the park. Uh Hello, it's Snoop D-O-O-G!

All I have to say is, Michael Conley has mad skills! We'll see how well he handles the ball when the 07-08 season starts.

Reggie and USC in Hot Water!

Reggie Bush and his family benefited from $280,000 that was laid out to his family when he was still attending USC. Lloyd Lake will meet with NCAA officials and provide the goods on Bush. Now this has been talked about since Reggie was drafted by the Saints, but the investigation seemed to die down. Well I guess behind closed doors, they were looking to build a very strong case and get the witnesses they needed to put USC in a corner. Fortunately, Bush is already in the NFL, so the only thing that can really affect him is forfeiting the Heisman trophy. The school on the other hand could face other sanctions if it's proven that coaches knew or should have known about the alleged benefits. Do you really think Coach Carroll had no clue what was going on?

The Bachelor is Going to Iraq!

Wow, the Bachelor from the hit show on ABC doesn't find love after all! According to US Weekly him and his fiancee Tessa Horst have broken off their engagement. Unfortunately, Andy Baldwin will be deployed to Iraq for 6 to 12 months his rep has confirmed, so the two won't have time to kiss and make-up.

Ohio Student Had a Troubled Past

This is such a sad story and another example of why school is so dangerous. A 14 yr. old Ohio student that killed himself and wounded four had a history of mental instability. He shot two teachers and two fellow students at SuccessTech Academy. The shooter was white, so of course some people are saying that this was a race issue, but like me, most people on campus are saying that in this situation that wasn't the case at all. I totally agree, this is the general census from all the students that know the boy. My main concern is why aren't the portable metal detectors being used at all times? This is not the time to be cautious, this is the time to be alert and aware of what's going on in your school. If you know that a student has mental problems and violence in his past, then you have to protect the other students and teachers, especially if the boy was suspended Monday!

Coon had been charged with domestic violence and had attempted suicide while in the seventh grade, The Plain Dealer newspaper reported, citing court and Department of Children and Family Services records. Apparently the student was beaten up after he said, " F*** God" during an argument. Although a motive in the shootings has yet to be determined, McGrath said Coon and another student were suspended Monday after the fight.

See these type of situations make me want to home school my son, because kids are becoming violent at a younger age. This generation has no fear! They're online, texting, dressing inappropriately, expressing themselves in such terrible ways. There's no respect for authority and in my honest opinion, corporal punishment should be put back in the school system. Also, more training needs to be given to the whole school administration around this country. Faculty and staff need more tools to identify troubled students, even before their suspended. Of course, parents are going to sign a permission form in order to give corporal punishment, the important thing is to at least have that option. I understand we don't want to start singling out certain kids, but I'd rather you remove students then have them shoot up the school in revenge!

Jennifer Lopez Pregnant and Madonna is Getting a Fresh Start

I'm sorry readers, my allergies have been going crazy! So, there's been a couple of days without posting, but with a little help from Tylenol Allergy and Sinus, I should be high and ok. Now that I've given you my sad story, lets get down to celebs, school shootings, baseball playoffs and much more.

We finally have some confirmation on Jennifer Lopez's mysterious but so obvious growing stomach. According to US Weekly, the actress is pregnant with twins! She's about 4 months pregnant and her mom is saying, Mark and Jennifer are very excited. I'm happy for J.Lo, she seems like she's having the time of her life without any club shootings, dancing husbands, and jealous waiters that try to write a tell all book! I think you can figure out who I'm talking about! So congrats J.Lo and I hope you have very healthy babies and much success on your new endeavors.

AFP/File/Carl De Souza

Mrs. Kabalah is leaving her record company after 25 yrs of bliss to sign a whopping $120 million deal over a period of ten years with Live Nation. The deal includes touring, merchandising, and recording. This deal sounds good to me being that Madonna hasn't really had success with anything else other than touring, but hey that brings in millions so I'm not mad at her at all! My only question is, will she still be performing when she's 60?

Brangelina and the Boys Take on Broadway

Bruce Glikas/ Just Jared

Brangelina took the boys to the Off Broadway Show Jump last night in New York. It's so nice to see these two spend so much time with their kids even though other obligations consume them. Angie's getting that glow again!

This video is not funny, but it really is! Coach Gundy was standing up for his players and I so commend him for that.

J. Lo is So Preggers!

Scott Gries/Getty

You still think she's not pregnant? Jennifer Lopez was on TRL today and she had that mommy glow. She talked about how hard it must be for Britney to have so much attention on her and she feels bad for the fallen star. Unfortunately, Lopez's movie starring Omarion didn't take in any cash over the weekend, but I really don't think she cares about that. Anywho, rumor has it that the producers from the David Letterman show are trying to get J. Lo to confirm her pregnancy on the show. Wow, look at late night trying to be the new Today show!

Marion Jones Returns Gold Medals!

Marion Jones returned her five gold medals that she won at the Sydney Olympics in 2000. My goodness, talk about fall from grace. She admitted to the court that she did take THG to prepare for the games in Sydney. I just don't know why these damn athletes take that risk. I mean seriously no one expects you to be he-man, just train hard and let your talents take over. She's already in the hole financially, so this only makes it worse. I wouldn't be surprised if Wheaties wanted their money back!

Judge Refuses to Postpone Tax Evasion Trial

AP

The judge in the Wesley Snipes trial has refused to postpone the actor's tax evasion charges. His new attorneys asked the judge for more time, because they were new and needed time to prepare for trial. Hey that's what you went to law school for, to be prepared at all times and sleep, eat, and drink case studies. In October 2006, a federal indictment charges Snipes with fraudulently claiming refunds totaling nearly $12 million in 1996 and 1997 for income taxes already paid. Blade has really turned out to be a dead-beat father and a cheater!
Update: The judge has decided to postpone the trial, because Snipes fired his whole legal team. Wow, that's a way to get what you want!

Bob Barker and CBS Getting Sued Again!

Bob " come on down" Barker is being sued by longtime employee Deborah Curling, she accuses Barker of repeated "racial discrimination, sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment." The former CBS prize administrator claims she was targeted for harassment and felt "physically threatened" at work after she testified in a wrongful termination lawsuit against the network. Curling, who is black, also contends that African-American audience members were repeatedly discriminated against in the process of selecting contestants.

Wow this man has been sued more times than Michael Jackson, did he leave the show to go tan in the sun or was it an attempt to flee the scene of the crime. One thing I can't stand is a perv and just because you're rolling in the dough doesn't mean you have to take advantage of these women, no matter what color they are. I mean an African-American woman, I can definitely sympathize with the contestants, but this is a sexist issue that needs to be rectified immediately! So Bob come on down and meet the judge, AGAIN!

I love David Letterman's Top Ten List! This is an old one, but it's still relevant.

Young Celebrity Wrap-Up

Photo by: Peter Kramer / Getty

Wildin Out star Nick Cannon and his Victoria Secret model fiance, Selita Ebanks have called off their engagement. It was confirmed by People Magazine that after 5 months of engagement bliss, the two have decided to take a break. Apparently there was some fundamental differences during the short-lived engagement. Cannon wanted the duds and studs ceremony and she wanted simplicity, like the courthouse! I wasn't exactly on the side lines rooting for the couple, but it's sad to see that the success for a relationship in Hollywood is very little.

Lindsay is coming home from rehab and the press will be waiting. News is coming out that while in rehab Lohan failed a drug test. I mean seriously she had to many privileges at the center anyway. Every time she was in the news, it was her getting a tan, a pedi, and even strolling on the beach. So this is no surprise, now what will she do with her new found sobriety! LOL

Scott/Jri/Mat/Bauer-Griffin, Oliver Martin/Darren Banks/Splash News Online, Johnstone/Thompsett/PacificCoastNews.com

Britney picked up her paper license yesterday at the DMV office and then went to 4 bucks. Brit "stankonia" Spears was granted visitation rights, but only while being supervised, uh duh! Rumor has it that Spears is suppose to check into a rehab this weekend. I don't believe this one for a second. If rehab was that important, she would've gone to the parenting classes and took the random drug tests that the judge had ordered her to do during the custody hearing. Brit was given those stipulations and she failed to comply, so custody was given to FedEx.

Matt Symons/Nathaneal Jones/PacificCoastNews.com

It's so nice to see a smile on Vanessa Hudgen's face, the actress probably feels relief that Britney is getting all the attention. Now she can get back to playing a sweet-faced teen on High-School Musical. The look is real cute too, very innocent T!

Birds of a Feather Flock Together!

Photo: Just Jared

Cate Blanchett as an actress is fabo, but the combination of a LBD and feather shoes is an emergency call to the fashion police!! It looks like a bird is ready to hatch its eggs. Her stylist probably warned the actress before she stepped on the red carpet at the exclusive screening of Elizabeth: The Golden Age, but I guess she insisted on being a fashionista on the carpet. Well Ms. Blanchett you failed miserably! All I can say is no ma'am!

President Bush Vetoes SCHIP

10/3/07
Washington- President Bush, in a sharp confrontation with Congress, today vetoed a bipartisan bill that would have dramatically expanded children's health insurance. It was only the fourth veto of Bush's presidency, and one that some Republicans feared could carry steep risks for their party in next year's elections. The Senate approved the bill with enough votes to override the veto, but the margin in the House fell short of the required number.

Democrats unleashed a stream of harsh rhetoric, as they geared up for a battle to both improve their chances of winning a veto override and score political points against Republicans who oppose the expansion.

I'm very disappointed with Bush, but not surprised. The S-CHIP plan that seeks to help millions of children with their health care needs and heartless Bush denies them! I mean think about it, do we really want a bunch of sick children in this country. I understand that billions have been given to the program over the last five years, but this bi-partisan bill was to cover more than 10 million of our little ones in the United States. These are parents that have decent paying jobs who don't qualify for Medicaid. I could see if we were talking about lazy no good parents that are taking care of their children by using the government. It kills me how we'll support and pacify millions of people on welfare, but won't help many who are just trying to make ends meet. The cost of living is higher, the gas prices have gone up, even food is more expensive. When are we going to stop being so ignorant, these children are innocent human beings that deserve to be treated equally. We're still in Iraq fighting a war that shouldn't have happened at all. A new report just came out about Federal employees in Washington that have spent more than $146 million just on outside luxuries, such as travel and other big perks, but Bush can't help innocent children. It's just absolutely absurd and ridiculous that this man doesn't have the capacity to do good. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a child advocate, but a single mother that works hard for the money everyday and even I struggle. Fortunately for me, my employers give excellent benefits and that's the upside of working at a medical school. The children of this country are the future, these are the individuals that will pay taxes when they get older and fund our Social Security! It's really great to see all parties come together on this, not all Republicans agree, but there's a general consensus that they want some kind of health care for these children. This crosses all color lines and it's more of a socioeconomic issue than anything. I hope that Congress can bring forth a revised resolution that President Bush will adhere too!

Update: Bush is willing to spend more on the program, although he hasn't specified how much of an increase in funds there will be. That a boy! He probably felt the heat from both parties, because this veto had some serious consequences for the Republican party in next year's election.

P. Diddy is really irritating and I wish he would just shut-up. Hey Diddy, my pedi is better than yours!!! Bad Girl 4 Life

Lets Go Red Sox!!

My dreams of another ALCS showdown between the Yanks and BoSox may come true, but they will both have to get through some really hard nose ball clubs if they want to get there! The Yanks will take on the Indians in what most critics are calling the most important series for A-Rod who is the home-run king, but in the playoffs he's never been able to step-up for the big plays. Actually, he's done nothing in the last couple of playoffs, his batting average has been .333! Sabathia will be pitching the first game against the Yanks and Beckett will be pitching for the Red Sox in Game 1. So may the best pitcher win and A-rod goes 1 for 16. I'm so glad it's October, Big Papi and Manny time!

Britney Temporarily Loses the Boys!

I knew it was only a matter of time before it all came to a screeching halt! I posted a story on Britney last week in which I said, K-Fed get the beds ready! The courts have temporarily handed the boys over to Mr. Federline and while I'm not a such a big fan of the wanna be rapper, I'd rather see the kids with someone that's a little more responsible. It doesn't seem like Brit is to phased or maybe she's just confident that the boys will be back in her lap within a few weeks. I have a feeling she will permanently lose custody, because the complete makeover she needs will not be done in a matter of months. I hope that she doesn't spiral out of control and end up like Anna Nicole, which people in the media have compared her to. At least we know who the kid's father is! Honestly, I never like seeing a mother in such self-destruction and turmoil, so I sincerely wish her the best.

The Clarence Thomas of the NBA!

The executives at Madison Square Garden have to shell out 11.6 million dollars to a former employee that accused Thomas of sexual harassment! Of course the defendants will appeal the decision, but I doubt that any court will overturn the decision. The last thing the Knicks need is another season that starts off on a sour note. The jury of four women and three men found Thomas and Madison Square Garden sexually harassed Anucha Browne Sanders, but it decided only MSG and chairman James Dolan should pay for harassing and firing Browne Sanders from her $260,000-a-year job out of spite. The commish isn't going to suspend or fine Isaiah, because Stern feels that it's a civil issue. My thing is, he should've been focusing on making better trades and forming a playoff team than trying to put his hand on Sander's booty, damn Zeek!

Surrogate Mother....Grandmother????

Due to the current events in my personal life, I have been a little...lot distracted but this morning when I got to work and saw this story, I was unable to resist writing.

Due to four years of failed pregnancies, Claudia Michelle de Brito decided to find a surrogate mother. And indeed that she found in her 51-year old mother who gave birth to twins in Brazil this weekend. De Brito is an only child and none of her cousins volunteered, so Serrao (her mother) agreed to receive four embryos from her daughter. I mean from a scientific standpoint this is genetically ok because all the predispositions that the mother (grandmother-birth mother) has the daughter will have also (assuming that she is definitely her child LOL!) But I am not quite sure how I would feel if my mother gave birth to my children...just seems kind of creepy to me. Well at least the twins are healthy and are at home with family, I wish them all the best in life.
