Woman Arrested For Kissing Painting!

A woman was arrested for suspicion of kissing a painting by Cy Twombly in France. Supposedly the woman smudged her red lipstick on the bone white canvas, which is worth 2 million dollars!! Wow, all for kissing a painting, but then again if I have a masterpiece worth 2 million, I wouldn't even unveil it!

Born in Lexington, Va., in 1928, Twombly has lived in Italy for nearly a half- century. He won the prestigious Golden Lion award at the Venice Biennale in 2001. Basically, the man is big time and French officials are not playing with this art admirer, I know this is one decision she totally regrets!

Queen and the cast of Hairspray were in New York on the Today Show to promote their new film. The movie will open this weekend and supposedly critics find it very entertaining! I'm not sure is I want to see this remake, I loved the movie when it came out in 1988. It was funny as hell, remember Rick Lake's hair and yes if you wondering, I am a child of the late 70's! I'm really not looking forward to the visual of John Travolta as a woman, he looks pretty comfortable by the way. I wonder why he wasn't on the Today Show, did have anything to do with the emphasis exchange between Matt Lauer and Tom " Crazy" Cruise? David Stern Releases An Official Statement

David Stern is really trying to avoid the real issue. How many games has this ref officiated, that affected the playoffs or regular season? When a team is one shy of making the playoffs, did you see how many teams were tied in the 8th spot of the regular season? Notice Stern's comments, " a single referee", I seriously doubt that Donaghy is the only ref, I mean think about it, how many refs knew and didn't come to Stern and Jackson about it? I wouldn't be surprised if Donaghy started releasing names just to lessen his charges. I'll keep you posted as the investigations develop. I really thought it was going to be Crawford....

Boston Finally Snaps Losing Streak!

You guys know I love my Red Sox and they are back on track! Boston (57-39) played the White Sox, to whom they lost against on the previous night came back with a vengeance. Crisp had a triple the fifth with a line-drive. Lugo had a Grand Slam while Drew had two doubles. The Red Sox were on a three game losing streak until last night and trying to keep at least trying to keep nine games ahead of the Yankees, in my opinion they need to be 15 or more ahead. You can never underestimate the Yanks, A-Rod anyone?

Bush Turns Over Powers To VP

Our President Bush had a Colonoscopy today and transferred his executory powers to Vice President Dick Cheney. "The vice president is now serving as acting president," White House spokesman Scott Stanzel said. He said the temporary transfer of power will end when Bush transmits a second letter to the congressional leaders advising that he is resuming the powers of the presidency immediately. Yea, because you have a lot of work to do buddy, so I'm wishing you a clean bill of health.

What, Britney Will Release An Album In 08?

No Britney don't do it girl, stay away from the music and the vids! Brit looks a hot mess on the set of her new video, Get Back. Her first single from the new album ' Fears Within' that was supposed to be released in mid 07, but it was pushed back to 2008. I wonder why, because she still needs to get it together. Britney you aren't Rihanna, you can't come back and say I'm bad, because you already are!! I'm not a Brit or Paris hater, just wish women with a lot of money would be more sensible and less trashy. Have you heard of Angelina, she made her mistakes, but look at her now, aspire to be her one day. People can say what they want, but Angelina and Brad were meant to be with each other. I know the circumstances were messed up, because he was still married, but I don't think she wrecked their marriage! We have no clue what went on behind the scenes. Oh wow, sorry for the random tangent peeps, just had to put it out there. Anywho, Brit take your time to recover and spend time with your boys, reconcile with your mother, and go to school. I know that's hard, but move somewhere else like Arizona.

Paris Attends BPM Mag Green Party

Paris Hilton said she wants to " help out with charity and become a better person" , I don't know if this counts, but she's giving an effort. She attended the 11th Anniversary of the BPM Magazine Green Party. I guess we'll see her in a Prius Hybrid next, even though I seriously doubt that. Paris, has a new man friend, he's a clothing entrepreneur from Australia named Tyler Atkins, but this one-time drug abuser, car thief and who knows what else is giving plenty compliments about the heiress to newspapers and trying to move the spotlight from himself. See how you become instantly famous, be a drug user, like group ***, and party with Paris! Paris just a little advice girlfriend, stop hanging with this guy, he's not that cute anyway.

Rihanna Rocks The Brass, Say What?

Ok, now I love fashion and new ways to rock it, but this is going to far. I know she's on this whole promotional thing for Good Girl Gone Bad, but having brass-knuckle boots are not cute! She showcased the high boots at a taping on 106 and Park. One of my favorite stores is Hot Topic, so I feel ya girlfriend with the hip-cool look, just not feeling this fashion statement.
