A live-in caretaker at the home of famed actor Ving Rhames was found dead on the front lawn in Brentwood, California. Jacob Adams was an employee for Rhames for the past two years. Apparently, Rhames's dogs mauled the man and he was on the lawn with multiple dog bites when authorities found him. The actor discussed dogs during a 1999 interview with the Los Angeles Times, describing a 1-year-old Fila Brasileiro (Brazilian Mastiff) he owned at the time as having been bred to guard slaves. Rhames is currently in Germany, so no official statementhas been released.
