Kanye West's Mother Dies in LA Hospital

Dr. Donda West, mother of famed rapper/producer Kanye died yesterday in a Los Angeles hospital. West was an English professor at Chicago State University until she resigned in 2004. She became Kanye's manager and CEO of his company, Super Good. A cause of death hasn't been confirmed and I'm sure details will remain private for awhile. Kanye had just arrived in London when he heard the shocking news and immediately boarded the plane back to Los Angeles. Dr. West was only 58 years old when she passed. I want to send my sincere condolences to Kanye and his family.

New reports are surfacing that Kanye's mom died of complications stemming from a cosmetic surgical procedure.

The Kingdom Premier

The Kingdom premiered last night and all the A-listers were there to support Jamie Foxx and others. I don't have an opinion on this movie. The fact that Foxx is playing the star and Garner is trying to resurrect her career makes me a little interested in seeing if these two can pull it off. So far the reviews have been quite good and many are claiming it's the best movie of the year. Now until the movie comes out, I can't agree! The best movies of the year are Bourne Ultimatum and Spider-Man 3!

Jermaine O'Neal Heading to L.A.?

Why must NBA players come out in public and start demanding trades? Jermaine O'Neal attended the Annual L.A. Stars charity basketball game and in front of Brandy, Snoop, and all the other celebs, he felt compelled to share his desire to be in the "City of Angels". He did purchase a home in Los Angeles over the Summer, so maybe his wish will come true!
