Whitney Houston smoked crack..oh wait "weed that was laced with rock cocaine". Either way the effects of the illicit drug use has terribly messed up her vocal cords. The over done lip moving drives me crazy. Yes, Alicia Keys wrote the song "Million Dollar Bill", but that doesn't mean that a Clive Davis favor would make it a hit. I can only hope that Ms. Houston stays focused and realize that she is an icon and that the diva status will remain. So there's no need to establish anything. Am I the only one who feels this way?

Eva Mendes the Latest Rehab Victim

Hey my fellow readers, I know it's been ages since I last blogged, but my life tends to be crazy sometimes. This story came out of nowhere! Eva " caliente" Mendes is now in rehab at Cirque in Utah for an unknown substance abuse problem. I'm not the one to play the guessing game, so I won't even comment on what I think the drug of choice is. There has been a couple of reports from unknown sources that Eva has a Cocaine addiction and then others say it's prescription drugs. Hollywood wants skinny women to become the face and brand of these high-priced products. It's been told before, beautiful starlet turns alcoholic or drug whore. I know the words were a little harsh, but seriously lets get real! I know no one is perfect, but can there be one half-way decent person that doesn't feel the need to drink or snort Coke. I've never wanted to be in the Hollywood scene, not because I wouldn'te be able to handle it. I just don't like people commanding me around, but at the same time money rules the world and with this economic crisis we're in, celebs are taking all that they can. I wish Eva a much deserved recovery, she seems very genuine and sweet! Currently, she's taken a short leave to take care of some personal issues in Los Angeles and will resume treatment very soon.

Marissa Cooper Charged with D.U.I.!

It's not a shock to me that Mischa Barton was booked on D.U.I. charges, but seriously girl you're not on the O.C. anymore! I thought the Marissa Cooper persona was dead and gone. Well at least it wasn't like episode 7 of season 1 when she overdosed on alcohol and anti-depressant pills, then ended up in a Tijuana alley. Barton was apparently driving recklessly and didn't signal when making a turn. The actress was charged with driving under the influence, possession of narcotics and driving without a valid license, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. She's still being held on $10,000 bail. Dang, if this was Lindsay, she would be getting Starbucks by now! I wonder what kind of sentence will be handed down to her. Please don't think I'm making light of this story, it's a sad incident, but Hollywood is a revolving door, addicts go in and then they come out! Developing.....

Lindsay Going for Broke!

Linsday Lohan is reportedly broke. The actresses $7 million fortune has completely ran dry. The actress has spent over $1 million on clothes, sounds about right to me. Also, she even had a $1 million hotel bill. Wow, it's just real sad, but she did this to herself. That's what drugs will do, gains all respect from you until your will to be productive is gone. She left rehab last week and is staying with the executive producer from her flop movie, I Know Who Killed Me. She has spent more than $137,000 on three stints in rehab and much more on legal fees. Hopefully, the 21 yr old actress can get it together, because it sounds like she has definitely hit rock bottom!

Hung Jury in the Phil Spector Murder Trial!

How unfortunate, the jury in the Spector case was unable to reach a verdict. The evidence was overwhelming! Lana Clarkson was a nightclub hostess when Spector met her on Feb 3, 2003. He invited her to join him at his mansion in Alhambra at approx 5 a.m. for some drinks. Clarkson died when a gun went off in her mouth as she sat in a chair in the foyer. The defense claims that it was a self-inflicted wound or suicide. I'm not an expert, but why would someone come to a home at 5 a.m. for " drinks" and then commit suicide. Most people these days have personal problems, but it doesn't justify what happened. Furthermore, prosecutors presented Spector's chauffeur, who said that he heard a "pow" and that Spector then came outside with a gun in his hand and stated: "I think I killed somebody. Also, they called five women from Spector's past who testified that he long ago terrorized them with guns when they tried to leave his presence! In my opinion "Doctor Detroit" was high on blow and decided that Lana was his target! I hope Lana's family will file a Civil suit against Phil and get some kind of resolve. Why did the O.J. trial get more coverage than the Phil Spector case?

Courtney Love Blames Coogan for Wilson's Troubles!

So I was listening to the radio this morning and Maggie from 790 A.M. in Houston reported that Courtney Love has accused Steve Coogan of contributing to the attempted suicide of Owen Wilson. She went on to say that when she left rehab years ago that Steve was right there with the drugs. Steve Coogan and his reps have denied the accusations and is seeking legal advise to possibly file a suit against the singer and actress.

It's rumored that Owen Wilson has been taking Oxycontin also known as the " Hillbilly Heroin" and Crystal Meth ! It has been confirmed by various media outlets that Wilson in deed tried to kill himself! Owen is one of the funniest actors out there right now and I hope that treatment and counseling can help him get back on track. Also, he's dropped out of the movie Tropic Thunder, starring Ben Stiller. Maybe that was the true reason behind the break-up between Kate and Owen.

Amy Winehouse Leaves Rehab in Essex

Amy Winehouse left rehab yesterday, the Sun reported. She was only at the facility for 48 hours before bolting and getting on a helicopter to London for a scheduled Brain scan. The singer overdosed on heroin and cocaine eight days ago. During the terrible incident Amy suffered a seizure that doctors fear may have been a condition she had previous, but went undetected until now. Amy told the media that the overdose was the most " terrifying moment in my life"! The messed up part about this story is that Amy's husband Blake is also an addict. It's a lot better when you have a partner that is clean and trying to help you, but man what a two-headed monster! I really hope Amy can get better, but it's going to be a test of will that only she can discover.

Stephanie Tanner Walks Down The Aisle Vegas Style

It's really nice to see a " B" celeb finally get on track. Jodie Sweetin who played the middle sister on Full House was married in a small chapel on the Vegas strip. I know it's not the castle of Eva and Tony, but whatever works for you. She probably doesn't have a lot of dinero since she had an out of control Meth addiction in the early 2000's which by the way boys and girls, STAY AWAY! That drug does nothing, but make you a complete maniac! Go to Google and search for Meth and you tell me if that's what you want to look like. That's enough to make me run, I'll go to counseling before I use that mess!
